Grapevine’s Annual July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza taking place over Grapevine Lake

The city has a list of locations around Grapevine Lake to park at and watch the show.

Grapevine will host its annual July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza over Grapevine Lake on Saturday. Attendees can drive to designated locations to view the fireworks from various parks around the lake.

The 24-minute fireworks show is set to music that attendees can listen to through SoundCloud which is listed online at the city’s website.

Though the event itself is free, the city of Grapevine recommends multiple locations that charge for parking.

To watch the fireworks show, viewers can go to many of the city’s parks. Grapevine’s Oak Grove Park has multiple locations for cars: Oak Grove Baseball Field, Minnow Loop, Trawick Pavilion, Oak Grove Soccer Complex, and Acorn Woods Park all cost $10 per car. McPherson Slough is a free location, and Oak Grove Softball Complex is reserved for boat traffic only, according to the city’s website.

Rockledge Park costs $20 per car. Silver Lake Park by Silver Lake Marina and Scott’s Landing Marina are private locations.

Attendees can make reservations at other locations like The Vineyards Campgrounds and Cabins.

Other viewing locations include Lakeview Park and Meadowmere Park, which may have a limited view.

The Grapevine Vintage Railroad is also offering a July Fourth themed one-hour excursion at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
